Wulngah Drug & Alcohol Program

Wulngah is your local drug help service.

We are two drug and alcohol counsellors, indigenous and non-indigenous specialising in providing individual counselling, assisting people to minimise the harmful consequences of substance abuse, responding to community concerns and raising awareness.

We are mobile and serve individuals and communities throughout the Innisfail Tully and Babinda districts.

Family Support Program

The Family support workers provide a service to individuals and families within the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities in the Innisfail district.

They provide assistance with lifeskills, family and community relationships as well as advice and referral services.

Recognised Entity Program

Mamu Recognised Entity is a service to support and give information to our local people concerning their rights as a famiy when dealing with the Department of Child Safety.

On behalf of Mamu there are currently two full time Child Protection workers and one part time Administration Officer.
